DAY EIGHT PRAYER

(For those on the verge of despair and all those who have abandoned the Catholic Faith)

Glory to you, God the Father, source of goodness and eternal wisdom, from You comes life, from You comes love, make me act with righteousness and prudence in every moment in order to enjoy the good and consolations that You send me; remember that I am your son, and have mercy on my sufferings, on my needs and help me in my difficult situation  (make your request). Thank you merciful Father for being here.

Glory to You, God the Son of the Heavenly Father, in whose Sacred Heart my soul finds refuge, teach me to faithfully imitate your life and virtues, give me firmness and constancy to fulfill your teachings and get to do charity work more often, do not abandon me in daily struggles, free me from the bonds that the enemy sets for me, move away and protect me from all the adversities that disturb me and grant me your miraculous help in my problem (make your request). Thank you my Good Jesus for being at my side in times of despair and anguish.

Glory to you, God the Holy Ghost, the Light that illuminates everything, You are the joy and harmony of Creation, always make me docile to Your divine inspirations; give me peace, help me in my deficiencies and problems and grant me Your help so that I can reach what I need so much now (make your request). Thank you Divine Spirit of Love for helping me when everything seemed dark that I needed light.

Today, I come before Your divine majesty to pray and commend those on the verge of despair and all those who have abandoned the Catholic Faith, come to their aid both in this present life, grant them the grace of conversion, and in the world to come – eternal life (pause and add other intentions). 

Mary, Mother of the Church and my Mother, you who are in the most intimate union with the Most Holy Trinity, teach me to live in communion with the three divine Persons, so that my whole life may be a hymn of glory to the Father, to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was, in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen (12 times).
