NOVENA TO THE MOST HOLY TRINITY (MOST POWERFUL NOVENA): DAY 9 – FOR THOSE AT THE AGONY OF THEIR DEATH AT THE MOMENT

(IT CAN BE PRAYED ANYTIME IN THE DAY)

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Hymn

Holy God, we praise Thy Name;
Lord of all, we bow before Thee!
All on earth Thy scepter claim,
All in Heaven above adore Thee;
Infinite Thy vast domain,
Everlasting is Thy reign.

Hark! the loud celestial hymn
Angel choirs above are raising,
Cherubim and seraphim,
In unceasing chorus praising;
Fill the heavens with sweet accord:
Holy, holy, holy, Lord.

Holy Father, Holy Son,
Holy Spirit, Three we name Thee;
While in essence only One,

DAY NINE PRAYER

(For those at the agony of their death at the moment)

Glory to the Father who, by his power, created me in his image and likeness! Glory to the Son who, out of love, freed me from all frustrations and opened the door to heaven for me! Glory to the Holy Spirit who, through His mercy, sanctified me and continually accomplishes this sanctification by the graces that I receive every day from His infinite goodness.

Glory to the Three lovely Persons of the Holy Trinity, as it was in the beginning, now and always and for all ages to come!

I adore you, Most Blessed Trinity, with devotion and deep respect; and I thank You for having revealed to us such a glorious and ineffable mystery.

Today, I come before Your divine majesty to pray and commend those at the agony of their death at the moment, as they return to Thee, come to their aid and pardon their sins, open the gate of paradise and grant them eternal life. May we too enjoy this awesome grace from You at the moment of our own death (pause and add other intentions). 

Mary, Mother of the Church and my Mother, you who are in the most intimate union with the Most Holy Trinity, teach me to live in communion with the three divine Persons, so that my whole life may be a hymn of glory to the Father, to the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was, in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end. Amen (12 times).

Let Us Pray

Almighty and everlasting God, Who hast granted Thy servants in the confession of the True Faith, to acknowledge the glory of an Eternal Trinity, and in the power of Thy majesty to adore a Unity: we beseech Thee that by the strength of this faith we may be defended from all adversity. Through Jesus Christ Our Lord. R. Amen.
